A grand day out

We got the wee ferry over to Bute and visited Mount Stewart, a fascinating house with the most incredible craftsmanship - 'arts and crafts' on steroids! The grounds were beautiful too,  we wandered round the gardens and down to the shore where we saw this seal sunbathing contentedly. Returning back on the ferry, we stopped and had an early dinner of mussels and langoustines in the sunshine.
It really was a glorious day out, a great start to the holiday.
Extras are of some of the interiors of Mount Stewart, a jellyfish in a rockpool and a view from Rothesay, looking towards home.
