Claret

Another photo in my series of photos like botanical drawings. This is the claret rose, it has lots of lovely buds on the bush. Last year I got 2 flowers!
I walked to the library whilst there was a lull in the rain but as soon as I got out of the library it poured down, I had to change out of my wet trousers!
I've done a bit of gardening, tidying the front garden, I usually leave it to look after itself but some shrubs are so big now I can't reach the top!
