Appreciation

The afternoon walk with Jess was appreciated more than usual.  We've been self isolating since Ben came home from Uni as he's had an inconclusive COVID test result three times on his return. (Now negative).

Out of an abundance of caution we've all stayed at home with him.  Indeed, Sam has been stuck on a friend's floor in Brighton as his university accommodation lease ran out and no one could pick him up.

So on freedom day, I'm very appreciative that in all of the last 18 months or so we've never had to do this before.  Thank you to Sandra and Vince for taking Jess for a walk but we are happy to take back the responsibility.

Glad we squeezed in the experience though - as COVID's over next month isn't it?
