The roses on the dining table wilted today, they had drunk all their water so I tried trimming and adding fresh water to see if I can revive a bit but I still find them beautiful.
The day was fine, work ok, except for the occasional downpours of rain. I walked to Jean’s in the dry. Then I discovered that there is or has been a leak in the airing cupboard. So I emptied the shelf and felt all the pipes, turned the heating on, no drips, so I left it empty, with a wash basket full of damp bath mats etc that need re washing, but that is for another day!
Selena came to meet me after she had been climbing.
I made a pasta bake with leeks, aubergine and mushrooms.
