Wild & Waxy Wednesday

a colleague who’s become a friend was at my home for a catch up over an early evening munch, and brought me this wee candle, made from beeswax produced by her own buzzers.

It reminded me of the Chic Murray story of when he was on an afternoon Glasgow/London shuttle flight, and was served an afternoon tea, which included  a scone. Eyeing its accompanying tiny individual  pot of honey he said wryly to the steward: “I see you keep a bee!”
