Hendrix and Buddy had a go at making their own early lunch, cheese sandwiches. 
Hendrix made a slightly better job of it than Buddy, as you can see. Buddy's plate is closest to the bottom of the picture.
Hendrix did have guidance from Granny, but not assistance. She just pointed out where he should cut the bread. She let them do it themselves and they seemed to enjoy it all the more for being a DIY sandwich.
