Common Blue

Butterfly, not the damselfly with the same name.

I set out today with the hope of seeing (and photographing) blue butterflies and fritillaries at a site where I had seen both before.  I only had 50% success.

Here it is on a lesser knapweed flower, Centaurea nigra.
