Planting Peas

A misty-moisty rainy day today.

Perfect for the first plantings in our community garden plot.

One of our gardening buddies planted peas a week ago, but the birds took them all away.

We decided to spend a few extra dollars for well established pea plants.

Cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower plants all were lovingly placed in the ground today.

Our 2013 gardening season is off to a good start!
