Cup of tea and cake with friends.

We went to see you friends this afternoon. First visit since the Lockdowns. They’ve had their garden revamped.
And the summerhouse can be used as an outside workspace, as it’s had lights and plenty of plugs installed.
Jim apologised for not having mown the grass!
Everyone’s lawns are growing like mad after all the heavy rain and warmer temperatures.
A lovely afternoon catching up and sampling Jackie’s homemade “Jiffy” cake. A recipe of her mother’s which is put together quickly!

So sad.
For my hairdresser it is her daughter’s last ever Sportsday at Primary School, before moving up to Secondary in September.
Yes, Football may indeed be Coming Home, (or not) on Sunday but so will a mighty big new wave of Covid infections, maybe………..time will tell.
The genie is well and truly out of this bottle.
