Climbing Hydrangea

A great shrub when it gets going. Originating from Japan, Korea and Siberia. Good ground cover plus climbing well on walls, trees and rocky slops where it is useful in stabilising soil and rocks. The plant survives at −15 ℃ and likes shady spots.
This season it hosted a wren's nest which had lots of action.
