MONARCH BUTTERFLIES ARE WELCOME!

Last Spring, my son grew native MILKWEED seedlings for me.
I planted them in a small, isolated flower bed, with hopes
the plants would attract MONARCH  BUTTERFLIES.

I have seen a few of these beauties flying around my
front garden, but never near this flower bed.
Much to my surprise, when I went out to water these plants,
I saw several ready to flower,
and these beautiful CATERPILLARS are in abundance.

I am almost certain these voracious guests are
MONARCH  BUTTERFLY CATERPILLARS.
Usually hungry insects are not welcome in my flower beds,
but this is an exception.  This time I am cautiously hopeful.

that doesn't give up."
