‘Dinner time for 4 Baby Coots’

There are now four coot chicks on the pond! (See blip of a couple of days ago.)

When I passed by this afternoon, all four were out of the nest and both parents were busily ducking and diving for food to bring back to them. Let’s hope this family survives this time….
