Missed Flower Friday because of my Jude blip, so for me it’s Flower Saturday.
The first lilies have just opened out. This one called Forbidden Love.
Photo taken between the showers. The sun has just tried to come out, but clouding over again. Still feels warm and muggy.

A rather lazy Saturday. Had a nice long chat on the phone with our granddaughter in Sheffield.
Then picked up the Yorkshire Post, and so a lot of the day spent reading the supplements.
They always have such interesting articles on wine, food, gardening, birds, walks etc.
Quite fancy this week’s walk.Starts where the River Derwent and the River Ouse meet at Barmby Barrage. 6.5 miles. One to do later this year.

Baked a cake and have just had a slice with a cuppa.
Not yet decided what to have for tea as feeling quite full.
Looking forward the Big Game tomorrow!
