Kineton's war memorial was dedicated.

Today we had a short rededication service on the village green.  This was intended to be more of an event with a brass band and the village societies each having a display in the church yard.  Sadly, the virus put a stop to much of that but the minister decided to go ahead with the service and kept numbers down by keeping it quiet until just before the event.  The flower decorations were put out yesterday and this morning in response to an appeal.

In my main blip, I have done what I can to get the memorial and the unknown soldier outline into the same image,  in the extras, a few others including a monochrome one where I have tried to get the same viewpoint as the photo from the 1921 ceremony which was very likely taken from an upstairs window in the village pub.

The pub is closed as two of the staff have tested positive,  that follows the sports & social club having a few positive tests after one of the earlier Euro21 games were shown on a big screen.
