It Has Survived!

Not only survived, but it's actually flowering! The pink geranium which I Blipped a few days ago has been admired by many but is actually quite aggressive & invasive. Yesterday, after our walk in Thetford Forest (& many thanks for the stars & comments for the resulting photos) I got on with clearing one overgrown section of the flower border, and, to my delight, discovered that the Astrantia was still flourishing reasonably well despite being covered, mainly by the geranium! Astrantias obviously do well in shade - I remember finding some wild ones when walking in a forested area in the Jura, & having trouble holding the camera steady enough to take even a record snap at the low light level!
