Point Vernon sunset

We discovered this spot late yesterday afternoon - it is on the western side of Point Vernon at Hervey Bay and the sun sets over the ocean, which is rather unusual on the east coast of Australia, where it usually sets over land. I made sure we were there this afternoon with my camera and watched this beautiful sunset over the ocean. It is a gorgeous spot and there were people there with their wine and nibblies, sitting watching the sunset.
The water is clearing now and is almost back to it's beautiful colour .... just as we are about to leave!!!! It has been a great week, very relaxing and I'm sure we will come back one day despite the 7hr+ drive.
