A Tale of Two Statues

The statue of Robert the Bruce at Stirling Castle is not the finest example of the genre. This jackdaw apparently agrees. The Bruce would have been 747 today.
Across the esplanade is a very fine statue (extra) to the men of the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders who fell during the Boer War (Oct 1899-May 1902).
An hour grabbed to chill, photograph and relax at Stirling Castle today, before the doubtless bedlam of the Euros final; but, that's only football after all. ;)
