‘An Old Toc-H sign’

Went for a wander in the lanes and mews of Edinburgh’s West End this afternoon and came across this sign. 

Particularly like the type face, both of the sign and of the ‘13’, on the stone.

I think it was once a hostel for servicemen 

Very evocative somehow ….
