Meall an Fheadain

This morning we walked up Meall an Fheadain and Cyclops played with radios for a bit while CyclopsJnr read a book and played.  It was quite windy at the top and the summit was a satisfying rocky outcrop with a great view over the Summer Isles.

After a picnic lunch at Badentarbet we went to the shop to get pocket money sweeties, then walked from Achnahaird up to the houses at Camas Coillie - even more isolated than our wee house!

Before dinner we finished building a tumble-bot from a kit CyclopsJnr had for his birthday.

Dessert was fresh local strawberries with toasted marshmallows - a reward for our earlier exertions walking up hills and over rough terrain!
