Spider and the turtle

A baby turtle has moved into the fish pond. I'm so happy! He just sits on the lily pads sunning himself and making friends with the occasional spider. We tried to buy some new fish for the pond but the tanks at the shop were mostly empty and the fish they did have were not for sale.
The extra is a shot of my mother holding a cake she had baked and iced the top with dark chocolate. I have to say it was delish! We took her and her cousin some material and a few groceries. It has been a busy day.
