Goldney Garden

This shows a tiny part of the wonderful garden created in Clifton by the wealthy merchant Thomas Goldney in the Mid 1700s.

Though relatively small they contained a bit of everything. Lawns, terraces, orchards, a bastion, towers, statues, orangery and ...a grotto!

It now belongs to Bristol University and it's buildings are use as accommodation for it's lucky students.

Extra shows Grandson5 ( by age of course ) possibly contemplating similarity with the Garden of Eden and Adam?

But possibly, not! Maybe just hungry?
