Pontlottyn

The first day of our slightly random little Road Trip Round the South West (aka the Grand Scenic Tour of the Bristol Channel) and we drove to Cardiff Bay via the mining town of Pontlottyn: not a common stop on the tourist trail - and for pretty good reason - but of historical interest to one side of Beck's family. We checked out some streets where the original houses no longer exist and tried to get a feel for the history. Later on we strolled into Cardiff, bought a t-shirt from Spillers (the oldest record shop in the world) and ate cake in the Arcades...
