A Trip Around the Bay

As it was raining this morning - and did so for most of the day - me and Mrs MD decided to do a few indoor tasks.  I came across this commemorative goblet relating to a trip on Concorde in January 1988.
The flight left Heathrow - flew over the Bay of Biscay at supersonic speed (1,580 mph - just over Mach 2) and then returned to Heathrow.  Full Concorde luxury service throughout.
An incredible experience and a truly great memory.
