From yesterday's patterns in tiny fungi to today's in barley, with the glossy leaves of black bryony as an extra.

After successfully booking a campsite to visit younger daughter who's just moved house we went for a longish walk on the local back roads & lanes. More wild flowers than usual - the verges aren't being mown as much - but it was the cultivated barley which really grabbed my attention today!
