Six Spotted Burnet Moth

These moths can be seen frequently on the flowers of the Vipers Bugloss. However, I had not realised that hoses spots are a warning to other insects that they are poisonous are exude hydrogen cyanide throughout their life cycle. so with their association with Vipers Bugloss that's a double whammy!
