Peachy mauvey pink

The garden inside the back fence around the veggie beds has exploded with tall verbena and milkweed (though we've yet to see many butterflies), and in one corner this lovely day lily. I think it's called Isis Candy, and I've subdivided it a couple times to places the deer usually avoid.

A funny piano lesson today: Janessa was wearing long braids down her back, which Felix decided (fortunately in a gentle way) were irresistible. A couple times he crept up behind her on the piano bench to investigate and eventually, after being discouraged, played a cat symphony up the keyboard (a catcerto?) and leapt to the top of the piano for the duration.
