Demanding!

The tiny baby Coot was following mum as close as it could and kept pecking at her beak to demand food!
Considering that they turn very black and white as adults, it's fascinating to see what a bright red/orange head and fluff they have when so young; perhaps it's so that mum can spot them if they wander too far away!!
