All sunflowers, no sun.

Biblical rainfall last night.

This morning Mr L sealed the bathroom floor where he had needed to grade it back. Then we offered up the rear panel, marked where the screws could go, marked where we require battens because there is presently no wall to screw into, and measured up our plumbing requirements.

It may be the Fête Nationale but at least Leroy Merlin were open today. It did mean going all the way to Poitiers for a pair of flexible tails but, hey ho, at least we can make some forward progress tomorrow, if not today.

The sunflower fields are beginning to come into their own, a shame that we have no sun. Much more rain is forecast, starting around now and continuing until 6 am.

The Gartempe is swollen and has breached its banks in places. I wanted to stop for a photo for today's Blip but there was nowhere to park - too many people out taking photos already! So it's the through the windscreen shot again today.
