Hydrangea Still Life ...

... on our dining table, with blooms from the bush near our back entry.  The day was sunny and very warm.  

The only event was a routine trip to the dump ("transfer station")  This evening we watched two PBS programs:  one on hummingbirds, and a second  (Meteor Strike) on the 2013 explosion of a 7000 ton asteroid over Siberia--fascinating--but disturbing given the notion that it could happen over a populated area.
