A visit to the lavender farm

Yesterday l went with a friend to a lavender farm about 50 minutes from here, we had tickets for between 11:30 & 1:30 but that was easily enough time. We were given a bag and a pair of scissors to pick some to take home and my house now smells beautifully of lavender.
Afterwards we stopped in a charming little village at a pub for lunch and a drink which rounded off a delightful day.
