Hoy is Calling

Arose late after my away fixture with Dougal (mainly a selection of Glenmorangie and Tamdhu).

I was left to my own devices today.  David phoned to arrange a day in Hoy the morn.  Lifted the first of the new tatties, picked the peas and froze them.  Sprayed the incursion of thistles at the back of the sheep’s hoose.  Shoved on with the crossword.  Made a salad, had some light banter (unbattered) with the fish man.  Put an undercoat on two of the bothy windows.  Lost my metric snibbler.  Prepared the langoustines. Petted Bibs and Harry.  Started re-reading ‘The Captain of the Telephones’ by Austin Taceous.

I hope you are all behaving.

Aynsley Dunbar is 75.
