The Night Shift

Sophia has been working nights (she's a nurse) and today is re-adjustment day.  She arrived home at 8.30am and has slept only a few hours before trying to stay awake to force herself into a normal day/night pattern.  

Patterns here were the focus of the photo.  I deliberately fiddled with the saturation to make you wonder what you were looking at.  Can you work it out?
