We woke up in *Arry, at the lovely swimming spot featured in yesterday's blip, and in an extra here. A cup of coffee, a swim, and then breakfast.
After this leisurely start we drove off on our circular trip, aiming to be home by the evening.
We stopped at the rather exotic Royal Thai Pavilion, a small piece of Thailand that seems to have landed in the middle of a Swedish forest. This was an unexpected bonus as we'd wrongly placed it on our map some years ago, so it was a surprise when it popped up on our road home! Jan wrote a lot about this so I'll send you to her blip.
After that we headed on along the road to the coast, following the valley of the Indal river. Along the way we passed Liden, which has  a beautiful 14th century church, and a separate wooden bell tower (extra).  The church contains a lovely Madonna carved in the local style, and the pulpit with carving of the gospel writers. Note the hour-glasses to tell both priest and congregation how long the sermon has been going on!
As planned we arrived home in the evening after two days of tourist activity!
