Bear's breeches

Not sure why these unusual plants are given the nickname of Bear's breeches. We have 3 clumps in different parts of the garden and they make a real statement. They grow well adding to their number each year.

Back to our weekly walks. Today Gill and I did a shorter walk and then sat in the shade in the church garden for a good catch up chat. Tonight would have been the seated performance of Time Travellers 2021. The 4 promenade performances would have followed on Sat and Sun pm. We made the right decision to postpone to next year. But I feel a bit sad!
