Time's passage sometimes enhance the rewards

Almost a month after the date, but the wait was of small concern compare to the pleasure of a birthday supper with my dear Frances and sweet daughter Anne.

They took me to a favorite Chattanooga restaurant, the Boathouse Rotisserie and Raw Bar. We celebrated with onion rings, oysters, Guacamole, chips, fried shrimp, fried okra, Boathouse slaw, Vienna Lager, Margaritas, coupled with grand and fun conversation and family humor.

Anne misses Edinburgh. She been home now for a couple of years, but she misses the country and its ancient culture and delightful people.  Her mother and I miss our frequent trips to Scotland, and we want to return.

If our former president is elected in the next U.S. presidential contest, maybe we'll consider moving to beautiful, near sane, Scotland... the origin of our families.

Peace and love, and keep smilin'
