Thistles

The jaggy thistles are beginning to flower & creeping thistle is starting to open too.

Lazy day in the heat & a short walk round the park & thru the woodland. Spotted a couple of red soldier beetles but the cow's parsley has already gone to seed so don't know where they are going to congregate, maybe the thistles.
