Herd of elephants in London town

I went with a friend down to Green Park to see the now famous in London elephant herd before they disband. Wow, what a sight, must have been 50 - 60 of these beautifully crafted beasts.
These animals have a metal frame with an outer of a jungle weed called lantana which is boiled and then looks like it is glued together. All the elephants are made by one village in the Nilgiri hills in southern India. Each animal has been sold with prices ranging from £6,000 for a baby to £80,000 for large animal, they are modelled on individual animals who live in and around the village, both villagers and elephants co-existing happily.
The money raised will go back to the village.
