Swept away

Not the most spectacular photo of the flooding. But here part of the bank of a normal small calmly babbling brook has been washed away. The trees above were cut down with great haste because otherwise, they would fall over the stream or towards the house behind it. The roots are secured with lashing straps so that they would not sink into the stream.
