HOLLYHOCKS AT THE FRONT

I brought these seeds with us from Crantock and they have grown very well in very poor soil.

Another hot day, too hot to be outside.  Mr A took Oscar back to the vets as he wasn't showing any interest in drinking or eating.  We suspected that his throat was sore from the pipe insertion.  They gave him a pain injection and at last in the evening he ate a tiny bit of chicken and drank some water.

We are still carrying him up and down the stairs, not wanting to stress his back legs.

Whilst sitting outside in the cool early evening we had the privilege of seeing Percy the Peregrine launch himself off the ledge at the top of the church.  It was amazing to see how quickly he flew.

He is back up there again this morning so hopefully he enjoyed his supper.

Adrian visiting this afternoon so I am preparing the food early so as not to cause him extra stress.  We will sit outside in the shade as he doesn't like this small house.

Enjoy the hot weekend while it lasts and we know how it will finish.!!!!!

Much love to you all.  And thank you for the kind comments and well wishes for Oscar. xxxx
