Longhope

A summer's day spoiled by a constant 45mph wind.  As part of an deep anthropological expedition we ventured to the island shop, a 50 mile round trip.  It sold 17 types of engine oil and eleven types of bisto.  We returned to HQ and then went to the Hoy Café. Tip top mince, tatties and peas.  Erland showed us his wizard waiting skills.  We then went through to Rackwick to visit Mr McKay.  It was 1.30 pm and he was asleep on the couch for he had been out on the randan most of Friday night.  A great catchup - l shared my eternity bottle.  We later met Elizabeth (fae Macduff) on Moaness Pier.

If anyone is still reading, this is Longhope Pier with the Lifeboat and Robin.

Scott Tulloch is building two houses.
