Peaches and Cream

The verbena is beginning to put on its Sunday best on such a hot day.  The flowers are such a delicate shade of pink though perhaps they'll redden.  Another hot day but with welcome cooling breezes.
Our TV doesn't work anymore and I spent much of the day deciding what to do about it.  There were simpler times when people felt some sympathy towards us because our telly was black and white and the indoor ariel was temperamental.  And, if the telly went wrong, it was a valve.  Now there is so much choice.  And that is a good thing?
