Open Garage!

Today I went and visited some of the Cambridge Open Studios. I was unfortunately curtailed as the M11 was closed from junction 8-10 and Saffron Walden was a total log jam. A usual 10 minute journey took me 1 1/4 hrs! 

This was my first stop of the day. It was lovely to chat with another local textile person, who similarly had a piece inspired by Barcelona.

I then went to Linton, and then ended up in Great Shelford..

Unfortunately I didn’t manage to get to see as many as I wanted to, but had super conversations, and am being known as ‘The hat lady’! 

Apologies for the shading on the picture… I realised later in the day my phone case was shedding!
