Bannockburn

A visit to the battle site today to walk the dogs, observe the tourists, and contemplate life, battles and philosophy.
The flag at Bannockburn seems more symbolically apt for contemporary Scottish politics than the splendid statue of the Bruce.
Ragged at the edges, corrupted by the wind, and not as sharp as it should be.
A great Sunday nonetheless, and my allotment is weed free, and another batch of strawberries are jammed and jamming.
