Hot Hot Hot!

Just a tad 'scorchio' in the UK today! So it's been a case of keeping the house cool by keeping the windows and doors shut, closing blinds and staying in the shade!! And we managed to keep the temperature down indoors so it's not been as unbearable as I thought!

I did manage to sit in the garden for the afternoon - shady spot! - and catch up with more reading so finally making a dent on the reading pile! Still rather humid this evening but getting a bit of gardening done, along with plant watering as the garden is suffering a little! But these echinacea are loving the heat!  Still lots of white butterflies about too - the others still seem a bit shy this year! 

Great day of sport on TV as well!  F1 is always more interesting when it's controversial, and the cricket was good fun too!
