Low key

An idea for this weeks Let's do 52 theme.

Another hot day. So a short walk in the woods to keep Fletch ( and us ) cool.
Hot weather meant more ants  in the living room  by the window. but fewer so I think we re winning at deterring them.
 We spent some time digging out all the flowers that had self seeded in the cracks along the edge of the house wall.. They did look lovely but we realised they werent helping the situation . We were quite shocked how deep the roots had gone. So from now on.. only flowers in pots along the house wall. 

The problem of ants seems  very insignificant when you see the news and the devastation  caused by the floods. In Europe. Dreadful.
