Trauma

I started driving to work this morning behind a white car. I waited while the car manoeuvred out of his drive and onto the street. The b****r didn't bother to wave a thanks or flash a light.

Within 10 seconds if this the car hit a cat, which rolled and scrambled to the side if the road and under a parked car. The driver didn't bother to stop. I did.

I knelt on the road and watched his frantic panting and how he gripped the road. I called Opendoor for help (just as the little cat came out and stumbled along the pavement, his right leg most definitely broken) and he called the SSPCA, who thankfully said they would come out and look for the cat.

I hope the wee fella's ok.
