Two small whites

A square selection from a photo I took this morning, when these two small whites were very fluttery. I think it's the first time I've caught any butterfly with its wings full spread. There's just one small white as an Extra, perching on a pansy.

Too hot for anything today. Currently 35 degrees Celsius in sister-in-law's Somerset garden. All I've achieved today, other than eating ice-cream and drinking Guinness, is the completion of a very few more rows of knitting. And taking these pics. (And helping look after elderly Aunt S, of course.)
