Early morning, three hours on the bike, still muggy as hell despite the cooling breeze, and threw in three laps of Arthur’s Seat, then up to the Castle, then up Calton Hill, into the first hour….

Edinburgh’s newest hotel framed by the bike. The architects can call it an unfurling ribbon all they want, to many locals it looks much much more like a golden jobby.
