Dog-tired

It is exhausting in this heat even for pets.
Went to visit a friend earlier for afternoon tea and her dog Ella was sleeping,  exhausted with the temperatures even though the windows and door were open.  Know how she feels as I've been shade seeking whenever I go out.
"Freedom Day" - I am going to carry on as is for a long while yet.  Popped into a shop earlier and all staff were masked and probably 75% of shoppers were. Numbers rising all over so caution is the name of the game imho.
