Sweet gift

We should be somewhere else but COVID said 'stay there'; so we have.
Our neighbour keeps bees and we have hosted a couple of swarms for brief periods.  After a number of years, he extracted his first honey from the hives and left a jar on the fence as they went on holiday.  I could argue that the flowers in my garden will have been a significant factor in the creation of the honey and we are only getting our share.  But that would be a very churlish response to a very kind gesture.
